The 2012 NOVAR Verizon Cup Series Season, was the 49th season in Cup series competition, and the 4th under the Verizon Cup banner. Shane Clarke III was the defending champion. The season marked the debut of the South Carolina Part-Timers Challenge, which was won by Chuck Quarley, who actually won a race at Darlington.
Chadler Blake defeated Rookie of the year winner Scott Harper by 27 points for his fourth title, and his first title since 2003.
